Rooted in the vibrant sounds of Afro House and Amapiano, House of Sands: Vol. 1 is a richly textured instrumental body of work for listeners who crave rhythm, culture, and emotion without words. The album captures vivid sonic depictions of African heritage, street hustle, and love, blending modern electronic production with deeply soulful influences.

 

The journey begins with “Heartbeat”, a bold and immersive opener that introduces listeners to unorthodox drum patterns, crisp instrumentation, soulful basslines, and emotive vocal samples. As the album unfolds, momentum builds toward track three, “Rhumba Piano”, the project’s apex — a hard-hitting, fast-tempo Amapiano-infused house track inspired by the energetic streets of Durban, South Africa.

 

Tracks like “Lights Up” and “Spark” sustain the album’s high-energy pulse, crafted to keep dance floors alive and listeners fully engaged. To close the experience, “Tunnel” offers a smooth, mature wind-down—a calm, reflective soundscape perfect for late-night drives or moments of relaxation.

 

House of Sands: Vol. 1 was produced and engineered during autumn 2025 at Sands Beat Studios in London, with Sammyoung and Smoovetime handling all production and engineering duties.
